You'll probably get more quicker by farming nodes. If you want polyplast, go to the The Tomb area on Belsavis and just do loops around the central area. If you want neutronium, go to Voss. Nodes are a bit more stered there, but the Old Paths area past the Republic outpost and through to the Shrine of Healing is a pretty good spot.
